The federation of German road attendants (VdStra) is a trade union in National Union of Civil Servants - the civil service association and tariff union) with seat in Cologne.
It was created 1895 by the road attendant Jakob Leonhard in Ellern In October 1933 the federation was dissolved by the NSDAP and integrated as specialized group into the German work front. After end of the Second World War the federation is again-created in December 1951.
The VdStra represents the personnel of the road and traffic of the public administration and the private economy.
