The Europenne administrations pos width unit et the (CEPT, European conference of the administration for post office and telecommunication system) is a controlling body for the co-operation of the adjustment authorities from 46 European states.

History

This organization was created 1959 by 19 national post office and telecommunications enterprise (PTTs). Today adjustment authorities from 46 European states are in the CEPT united. Goals

CEPT license in the amateur radio service

The CEPT license was inserted by the ERO, in order to simplify the amateur radio enterprise in the vacation or with durable stay in other countries. The CEPT license consists of 2 from each other independent parts. The first part, the recommendation T/R 61-01 '' CEPT radio amateur Licence '', regulates the amateur radio enterprise with a brief foreign stay. For Germany the federal net agency converted the two above mentioned CEPT recommendations by the VfG 11/2005 into national right.

In October 2005 the CEPT Novice radio amateur Licence was created; it makes smaller demands against the amateur radio examinations than the CEPT radio amateur Licence. Test contents are summarized in '' the ERC report 32 '', on whose basis the license examinations can be recognized mutually (similar to the T/R 61-02). The actual license is the recommendation '' ECC/REC 05-06 '' and from these countries is used. It regulates - similar to the T/R 61-01 - the radio enterprise with the attendance abroad. The federal net agency has these two recommendations in the Vfg. 93/2005 into German right converted.

Since it concerns with the CEPT licenses only recommendations, the individual countries can issue further editions, thus e.g. demand a telegraphy examination. Relevant always is the legal situation of the host country.
