CAO (of English computer Aided Office) stands for computer-aided administration and is a part of the CAI.

Tasks

• Electronic data exchange with supplier and customer. E.G. Customer orders on-line ones - > a confirmation is sent to it automatically to its E-Mail address - > delivery note and calculation for the further treatment is printed.
• Automatic production of calculations. E.G. in an enterprise the dispatch is captured electronically by goods. The system provides and dispatches automatically after this electronic feedback - possible under consideration of validity and other customer's requests - the calculation.
• Evaluation of cost changes.
• Treatment of special ones customer's requests. E.G. Changes at the Produnkt.

Around the mentioned tasks to fulfill to be able the computer-assisted administration (CAO) with the individual range computer-assisted production (CIM) must co-operate.
