Collier Wood is an underground station London Underground in the urban district London Borough OF Merton. It is in the Travelcard Tarifzone 3, at the crossing of Merton High Street and Christchurch Road. The name comes from a small forest somewhat further east, which was cleared around 1870. The station served by courses of the Northern LINE in the year 2004 by 3.975 million passengers one used.
The station was opened on 13 September 1926 as part of the extension from Clapham Common after murders. All station buildings of this extension were sketched to the "house architect at that time" by Charles Holden, of London Underground.
