Cola Turka is a Cola beverage of the Turkish enterprise On the Turkish market it represents a competition for the Cola producing companies, like Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
On 7 July 2003 the Coca Cola competition Cola Turka was introduced into the Turkish market. The sales was promoted by the Iraq war and the anti-American tendency resulted from it by Cola Turka. Today it takes a market share of approx. 19% of the Turkish Cola market and represents there a seriously increasing competition.
The colors white and red determine the appearance of the outside packing. The upper half is white, verziert with silver stars and carries the word "Cola". The lower surface is red and illustrates the word "Turka". The colors and the ornament are most likely ajar against the Turkish flag.
Well-known advertisements of Cola Turka are the advertising tie-clips with the American Komiker Chevy Chase. It recruits thereby for Cola Turka and changes by drinking Cola Turka its behavior, which that of the Turks resembles, after the slogan "drinks Cola Turka and becomes Turkish".
Cola Turka came exactly on the day on the market, when US troops in the north Iraq eleven arrested Turkish soldiers. However the enterprise disclaimed that publication with the incident in the Iraq has to do.
In Germany Cola Turka is already available in the Turkish food shops.
