The company Clover is one of the few genuine pioneers of the German bass and guitar building they 1986 in the Ruhr district was based and is meanwhile in Munich resident. It is in the second owner generation, managing director is for May 2005 Neugebauer.

Admits particularly became Clover at the beginning of the 1990er years by the manufacturing of guitars and basses from carbon fiber materials. Carbon models like "Slapper" or "BassTard" are to be found still in the Internet, apply however already today as looked for classical authors. Momentarily one withdrew and now exclusively manufactures themselves there from the production of carbon instruments something in wood.
