Claus Hipp (* 22 October 1938 in Munich as Nikolaus Hipp) is a German entrepreneur and managing director of the food and baby food manufacturer Hipp.

Life

The lawyer Claus Hipp attained a doctorate occurred 1964 the paternal enterprise Pfaffenhofen to the Ilm and took over already 1968 the production management. Under its line the enterprise developed to one of the prominent manufacturers for baby food. Hipp changed already 1997 over as a first large German food producer the power supply completely to renewable energies.

From 1998-2004 Hipp stood as a president at the point industrie and of the Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria. He was a president of the Bavarian industrie and Chamber of Commerce daily at the same time as well as since 2001 vice-president of the German industrie and Chamber of Commerce daily.

Hipp is practicing Christian and uses itself vocationally and privately for ethical-ecological acting.

In the years 1960-1977 Claus Hipp was active in the riding and celebrated victories with international jump and Militaryturnieren. Today it breeds tournament horses.

The artist

Apart from his vocational career Claus Hipp is active as free lance artists. It is considered as renowned musicians (oboe, English horn) and is a trained painter. Its abstract works are issued among other things successfully in New York, Paris and Kiew.
