Cirrus airlines is a German airline with seat in Saarbruecken at the there airport Ensheim with at present 1,000 coworkers and 40 airplanes.

The airline was created 1995. Starting from 2000 the society belonged to the team Lufthansa and is since dissolution team Lufthansa of 2004 partners of Lufthansa, offers however still code Share flights on with the well-known Miles & More program. After the first line flight 1998 between Saarbruecken and Hamburg the linear network of the enterprise was constantly removed. Today Cirrus approaches at home and abroad over 20 goals. Goals are beside Saarbruecken Berlin Tempelhof, Frankfurt/Main, Kiel, Munich, Cologne, Dresden, Hamburg, Leipzig, Erfurt, Mannheim, Rostock/Laage, London town center air haven, Vienna, Zurich, Berne as well as Skopje and Ohrid in Macedonia and Pri"ština in the Kosovo. On 2 July 2005 also Chisinau was taken up to Moldavia to the route network. This flight is accomplished however by the code sharing partner air Moldova. As the newest location the Slovenian airport Ljubljana is approached now.

The enterprise introduced as first operators the Embraer 170 jet into Germany.

On 26 April 2006 Cirrus aviation entered with lux aviation. Cirrus aviation takes part in of Luxembourg Executive Charterunternehmen lux aviation. New company name is Cirrus lux aviation.

Cirrus aviation count together with Cirrus Swiss Eagle and Cirrus aviation as well as sales and branch in London, Moscow, Paris and Beirut to the lead European operator of Executive jet.

Accidents/incidents

So far there was no special Vorkommnissse since establishment of the airline Cirrus airlines and/or Cirrus aviation.
