All operational information systems of an industrial company are to be linked by CIM with one another. Is the center of attention in particular the connection between commercial and technical systems. The Y-CIM-model of August William Scheer shows the components of both ranges taken part in the integration in descriptive form.

The production model of Scheer uses a model framework with the dimensions phases and goals. On the steering element level the integration goals linkage and goal adjustment are pursued. The efficiency bonus plan is not explicitly included into the view.
