Christoph Blocher (* 11 October 1940 in work living), homeland-entitled in shade half (), Zurich (ZH) and miles (ZH), is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician (SVP).

Christoph Blocher was selected on 10 December 2003 into the Upper House of Parliament.

It is married with Silvia Blocher, geb. emperors. Together they have three daughters and a son.

Vocational career

As a minister son grown up, completed Blocher from 1955 to 1959 agricultural teachings in Ossingen. It retrieved its Matura after some agricultural practical courses in the years 1961 to 1963. From 1964 to 1969 it studied jurisprudence in Zurich, Montpellier and Paris and locked this with the Lizentiat. It attained a doctorate 1971 to the doctor of the jurisprudence with the work "the function of the agriculture zone and its compatibility with the Swiss property warranty".

Political career

As a student Blocher helped with the establishment of the civil group of students student ring at the University of Zurich. It was further during its time at the university Zurich president of the legal trade association and member of the large student advice.
