The child sickpay comes to carries if a father or a nut/mother for care of an ill child not working not to go can.

Conditions

• a medical certificate must confirm the necessity for the care of the child
• no other family member the care to take over can (partner likewise employed or gets sick is)
• the child under 12 years old or handicapped is

social responsibility of the employer

According to the iurisdiction of the Federal Labor Court the employer is obligated to release parents in these cases and pay content further. Exceptions of it can be embodied however in the work contract. In these cases parents have a requirement on unpaid vacation and at the same time claim to the child sickpay of the legal health insurance companies.

Height

The child sickpay corresponds to the sickpay from the height with inability to work.

Duration

• for each child 10 working days per calendar year
• with several children maximally altogether 25 working days per calendar year
• However-educating have requirement on 20 working days per child and calendar year, maximally however altogether 50 working days for each calendar year

Other

If both father and nut/mother are employed, both for each child the maximum requirement duration in each case stress. An accounting between parents does not take place.
