Cheddar is from cow's milk manufactured hard cheese places, which contains about 48% fat in the dry weight and today world-wide one produces. The cheese places originally originates from southwest England and carries the names of the village Cheddar in the county Somerset. The first written allocation for the denomination cheese places named Cheddar goes back in the year 1655.
