Carl (Friedrich William) Grossmann (* 1863 in Neuruppin, "† 5. July 1922 in Berlin) be a murderer, which at least three woman murder.

Overview

Carl Grossmann buildup as a son of a rag collecting tank in Neuruppin and was a learned butcher. Grossmann worked first as a Hausierer and served several terms of imprisonment. Later it lived in Berlin in being enough road 88/89. It possessed sausage conditions at the Schlesi station, where it addressed probably its victims, prostitutes and alone travelers wives, and invited it to itself home. The borough Friedrichshain was one of the poorest and verruchtesten areas and due to its high criminality rate also Chicago of Berlin was called. In the years 1918-21 in the angel basin and in the channel in the area around the Schlesi station (starting from 1950 east station) 23 carved up woman corpses were found.

Carl Grossmann was in the act seized on 21 August 1921 in its dwelling beside its last victim. During the search of the apartment the Kriminalbeamten found several woman dresses, a bloody bag and human parts of the body in the coal stove except the corpse. Three murders could be free of doubts assigned to it before court, the actual number of its victims become however on 20 to 100 estimated. Grossmann himself on 5 July 1922 before the end of the main negotiation in its cell.
