A care diary serves the recording of domestic care achievements, which a private care person for an in need of care one furnishes.

As a rule achievements in need of care from the nursing care insurance request. In addition they place an appropriate request with their care cash. This passes the request on to the medical service of the health insurance (MDK), which in the process of an announced house attendance with in need of care one determines the expenditure of time for basic care, and house-economical supply in a care appraisal. It is handled practical in such a way that the care diary for a longer period, e.g. two weeks, before the attendance of the MDK consultant is led exactly. Subsequently, it is submitted to the consultant with the house attendance, which considers the entries appropriately with its statements.

Leading of a care diary is not voluntary, a diary is submitted, relies the MDK consultant exclusive on its own statements.
