Pflegehelfer/in is training, which is offered by the Swiss red cross. It covers at least 120 hours theory instruction with afterwards at least 12 days practical course. The duration and contents can be different thus depending upon kantonaler section of the SRK.

Courses cost approximately 2,000 Franconias (approx. 1,300 "€), and contents of the training course enclosure "hygiene of the patient, storage, meal enter, to the toilet lead, communication, dying company and much more besides"

The training is locked with the receipt of the SRK document of identification. Care aids are to be found particularly in old people's homes; in hospitals less. The occupation of care aid actual apart from practical courses - the fastest and simplest way, in order to find the entrance into an occupation of care.
