Campaign (v. campagne out lat. campus field) originally marked a campaign in European history. These campaigns were in earlier centuries temporally limited actions. Today the term is used also to other actual relations, outside of a military context, on the characteristics of a temporal delimitation as well as planned and coordinated cooperating several persons to apply.
