Their structure reflects the temporal-speciallogical succession of the regarded functions. Due to their general model characteristic business processing concepts serve the documentation, analysis and organization of business processes as well as for the support of communication over business processes. Further areas of application are: BPR Business Process Reengineering, BPM Business Process management (as continuation of Workflow management), support with the selection and the customizing of economical standard software (standard software - selection and introduction), requirement engineering, quality management (e.g. DIN ISO 9000 FF.) or the definition of Workflows as well as process orientated knowledge management.
