The bureaucracy beginning of max of webers describes the function mode of large organizations and examines the bureaucracy as type of organization in modern industrial companies. It ranks among the classical organization theories. Here it is considers that at times of weber another aspect prevailed concerning bureaucracies than also in the today's society and science. Weber saw in particular the punctual, tidy official, who fulfills and thus to the basis of existence of the state contributes obligation-consciously its task for the state. In the background here the Prussian picture of the national official is located. From this it can be partially also explained why even today still an official - bspw. in Germany - certain privileges enjoy. Nowadays this model and/or this simple world view is considered as obsolete. The modern science refers however bspw. on Parkinsons bureaucracy model.
The bureaucracy beginning is treated of weber in its 1922 posthum published work "economics and society" as analysis of the rationalization process.
