Bummi is the name of a magazine for children in the Kindergarten-Alter.
Bummi appeared for the first time on 15 February 1957 as monthly magazine in the GDR, to late appeared her fortnightly with an edition of 736.300 copies in boy the world publishing house. It was published officially by the Central Council of the FDJ for children of 3 to 6 years and appeared in the free and kiosk sales. Chief talking document urine of many years was Ursula Werner
The magazine Bummi appears to the GDR after the end since 1991 with the Pabel Moewig publishing house kg, which belongs to the Heinrich farmer Verlagsgruppe.
Bummi was also the name of a bear doll figure of the GDR television (see Pittiplatsch).
