Budweiser, Budweiser Budvar, Budvar, Bud as well as Budvar are in Germany, Tschechien and Austria trade marks of the 1895 created and since 1945 put brewery under state control Budvar from Budejovice (dt.: "Budweis", Tschechien). It acts thereby around a beer according to original Pilsner kind of brewing, which are exported world-wide (into over 60 countries).

In the year 2002 it succeeded to the brewery after 62 years to enter again into the US-American and Canadian market. Because of the trade mark controversy with Anheuser shrubs (see Budweiser controversy) are sold there the beer under the mark Czechvar.
