Dr. Bruno Mueller (* 13 September 1905 in Strasbourg; "† 1. March 1960 in Oldenburg) was in the third realm and upper government advice, director/conductor of the Referats III B 4 of the Central Reich Security Office, leader of the employment command 2/I in Poland and the special command 11b in Russia as well as commander of the state police and the SD in Krakau, Rouen, Prague and Kiel.

Origin and study

Bruno Mueller was born on 13 September 1905 in Strasbourg. Already in the year 1931 it joined the NSDAP. After the study of the jurisprudence and the graduation to the Dr. jur., he was a 1933/34 mayor on the North Sea island Norderney.

With the Gestapo

Dr. put to be Assessorexamen down 1935 and transferred in the same year the line of the Gestapostelle to Oldenburg. 1937 it was active in same function in Wilhelmshaven.

At the groups of employments of the state police in Poland

At the groups of employments of the state police and the SD in the Ukraine

Before beginning of the war against Russia, groups of employments of the state police and the SD were set up again. Dr. was used first as leader IV/V in the staff of the group of employments D (EGr D) and assigned starting from July 1941 the guidance of the special command 11b (SK 11b). This special command, which had developed from the division of the employment command 11 into the SK 11a and SK 11b, belonged to the EGr D, those under the guidance of Mueller's bureau chief, Dr. Otto Ohlendorf, stood and in the range of the 11. Army was used in the southern Ukraine. While the employment commands in the rear army area were used, the special commands for the employment were intended in the area of operations of the armies. After the war

1947 were condemned Dr. by a British military court because of its responsibility for the occurrences in the labour camp keel Hassee to 20 years detention. In the course of the amnesty wave released by the cold war, also Dr. became in September 1953 from the detention to already dismiss. He worked then as an insurance buyer. At the 1. March 1960 died Dr. Bruno Mueller in Oldenburg.
