Brigitte Heinrich (* 1941; "† September 1987) was a German lady journalist, politician and a spy for the Ministry for public security (MfS).

Their pronounced political and journalistic talent showed up already in the years 1966 and 1967, as it as a press spokeswoman of the socialist German student federation (SDS) functioned. In the 70's it brought it at the university to Frankfurt/Main then up to the trainingassigned and president of the student parliament. Already during this time it maintained contacts to different groups of terror, which at that time with exponents of extreme political opinions however also nothing completely unusual was. Because of unerlauber import of weapons and explosive arrested into the Federal Republic it 1974, however already after short time from health reasons - the detention to dismiss. In the year 1980 she was condemned again to an imprisonment by this time one year and nine months, which she served starting from at the end of of 1983 in the open execution.

Since 1980 Heinrich worked as a lady journalist for the citizens of Berlin daily paper. 1982 were enlisted Heinrich by her life companion, the attorney and MfS agent Klaus Croissant, for the MfS, where it was active for this time as an unofficial woman employee under the pseudonym Beate shepherd for the head department XXII (terrorism defense). Croissant functioned as its Instrukteur and courier.

After their 1984 took place choice as delegates of the Greens into the European parliament in Brussels were it in its characteristic as a member of the European parliament there up to their death 1987 as Nachrichtenbeschafferin for the MfS active and supplied to the GDR secret service with their Kennisse from parliament, a party and newspaper editorship.
