Bowers & Wilkins (well-known under the abbreviation B&W) 1966 of John Bowers (1923-1987) and Peter Hayward under the name "B&W Electronics" are in England created enterprise.

The enterprise develops and produces loudspeakers of all Preisklassen, which find both in Heimgebrauch as well as in Studios use (although they are not of the Design and the function Studiomonitore).

Most well-known model row might be the Nautilusserie, which is momentary in the second edition. This box series count to that, in the High end range, most popular and usually sold at all.

The Nautilus series was replaced to 2004 by the series of 800, which looks in principle alike, as the Nautilus series, which was technically partly strongly improved however. In October 2005 B&W launched now also the first condition loudspeaker (XT-series) in aluminum housings, in which all realizations of the past developments flowed.

The installation loudspeakers of B&W in the different versions make the architects and owners today extremely high-quality Home Cinema for installations possible with installation loudspeakers. The realizations from the Nautilus technology were taken over also here.
