Body Modification E-Zine (shortened BME) is an on-line magazine, which reports particularly on all kinds of body modification.

The entire spectrum of over Piercing is treated and, Implants up to castrations and Amputationen.

BME was extended in the year 2000 by community the oriented IAM side. In the year 2004 some parts were however again removed, because practices treated there on determined criticism such as Amputationen, Implants and mutilating became loud.

In Germany BME is indicated since 2002. This decision was however strongly criticized, since the federal inspection station for youth-endangering media condemned obviously above all the closed member ranges. None the criticism published in the judgement applies to the publicly accessible offer.

BME was created 1994 by Shannon Larratt.
