Birger Dahlerus (* 6 February 1891 in Stockholm; "† 8. March 1957 ebenda) was Swedish large-scale manufacturer.

Life

On 6 February 1891 in Stockholm born Swedish industrial magnate ordered over excellent contacts to relevant Englishmen and prominent men of the third realm (among other things early acquaintance with Hermann With approval of Hitler switched 1939 Dahlerus on in August, in order to accomplish nevertheless still another arrangement with London. Forbes noted on that personally the main points and handed the recordings over Lipski, which took the paper with trembling hands and regarded one while - then however it explained that he could not interpret, which stands there. I erbot myself on that to dictate immediately the note to its secretary"…. While I dictated to the secretary, Lipski Forbes had communicated that he had cause in no way to be interested in notes or offers from German side to. It knows the situation in Germany"…. it explained to be convinced of the fact that in case of a war unrests would march successfully in this country to break out and the Polish troops against Berlin."

In the first days after outbreak of war Dahlerus continued its efforts, however encountered to England to negotiations would immediately come, with the British guidance refusal in London with the offer.
