The company Bing was created 1866 of the brothers Adolf and Ignaz Bing as wholesale business for housewares and toy in Nuremberg.

First it limited to the wholesale, the year 1879 entered itself it into production and 1885 employed it already 500 coworkers. Ten years later it was converted into a corporation. There were numerous addresses in completely Germany and also abroad. Before the First World War Bing called itself as "the largest play goods factory of the world ". At this time the enterprise had altogether over 4000 persons employed. Ignaz Bing died 1918, afterwards the company Bing Work AG was called. Into the 1920er years were added new divisions, the enterprise was subdivided. Financial problems led finally for adjustment toy production in the year 1932, in order to save other company parts.

Bing manufactured a large pallet at play goods, among other things dolls. Completely openly one copied the popular models of Kruse and sold her also under the designation "to imitation of the Kruse dolls ". The Bing Tischeisenbahn of the trace 00 came out 1922 and under this name until 1932 was produced. It can be regarded as direct forerunners of the TRIX express model railway. This is not coincidence, finally changed the owner and technical designer Stephan Bing 1932 from Bing to Trix and brought in there its ideas for the development for the time at that time of an ultramodern model railway.

In the course of the world economic crisis and black Friday, 29 October 1929, it came 1932 to the compulsory composition and thus to the sellout of the company Bing. The play goods companies Karl boy and Kraus acquired machines, tools and finished parts of the Bing railway, which was continued to sell from 1932 to 1937 as a "Karl boy miniature railway".

Other parts of the Bing works were acquired by Fritz Hintermayr, which let manufacture from 1932 to 1945 saddles, tool kits for motorcycles and gas storage water heaters in the Bing works. Since 1937 the BING carburetor is manufactured there. The Fritz Hintermayr GmbH Bing carburetor factory was renamed 2001 in Bing power of system GmbH.
