Bessatsu Friend (jap. bessatsu fureindo), also admits Betsufure under the contraction, is a Japanese Manga magazine, which richet itself to juvenile girls (Shojo), who go on the high school.

The magazine appears monthly with the Kodansha publishing house at a price of 350 Yen. Different chapters of Manga series and Manga Kurzgeschichten constitute the main part of the magazine. These act usually of modern pupils and (first) the love. With Life and Vitamin of the draftswoman Keiko Suenobu however also two Comics, which sit down apart with serious problems of dte rodents such as Mobbing, appear.

Bessatsu Friend was created in March 1965 and appeared first as Bessatsu Shojo Friend following the Manga magazine Shojo Friend adjusted in the meantime. 1984 were renamed it in Bessatsu Friend. While the magazine had edition of over one million per expenditure into the 1980ern still another, the edition number since then constantly fell. 2005 amounted to the edition 190,000, which meant a decrease of approximately 15,000 in relation to the previous year.
