Bernhard Rudolf Konrad von Langenbeck (* 9 November 1810 in "† 29 September 1887 in Wiesbaden) was a German surgeon.
It studied medicine at the University of Goettingen, where it attained a doctorate to 1835 with a work over the fine's building of the Retina. 1842 he was called as a professor for surgery after Kiel. Six years later it changed to the to Berlin, besides it was active at the Jewish hospital and participated as a surgeon general of the medical corps in the French-German war 1870/1871. He is the inventor of the Langenbeck hook and the Langenbeck wing pliers. 1872 it created the German surgical society.
