Bernhard Friedrich Albinus (* 7 January 1653 in Dessau; "† 7 September 1721 in suffering) was a German physician.

Bernhard Albinus is born as a son of the mayor Christoph Albinus in Dessau. Its great-grandfather, who anhaltische historical writers Peter Weiss has the original surname "white" to "Albinus" latinisiert. Bernhard Albinus receives excellent training by the house teacher Johannes major. It visits the High School in Dessau. 1668 it follows its Gymnasiallehrer H there. Alers to Bremen, that the Rektorat "High School illustre" start. Occasionally he lives with his teacher.

Albinus begins in Bremen medicine study. 1675 it continues the study in suffering (Holland). Albinus attains a doctorate 1676 successfully in suffering with the neurological topic "De catalepsi" (see catalepsis). After the death of its nut/mother it 1677 study trips lead and the admission of a mathematics study to other universities of the Netherlands and France.

The young scientist plans 1680 an address as a physician in Dessau, however to the professor of the medicine to the Frankfurt university Viadrina follows an appointment. Soon thereafter he is appointed the body physician of the large cure prince Friedrich William. It is most time at its yard in Berlin, however its Professur in Frankfurt keeps. 1685 it describes the 1683 discovered source of welfare (today "source of cure prince") in bath free forest. Albinus will appoint 1687 as the rector of the Frankfurt University of Viadrina. With the death of the large cure prince Friedrich William I. 1688 Albinus can dedicate itself again more to its tasks at the Frankfurt University of Viadrina. Thus it develops a new method of the star operation. 1694 reject Albinus an appointment to the university in the Netherlands Groningen. Cure prince Friedrich III. increases his payment, by remaining to sweet. 1696 marry Bernhard Albinus Susanna Catharina of ring, oldest daughter of the law professor at the Frankfurt University of Viadrina, Thomas Siegfried of ring. Cure prince Friedrich III. appoints it 1697 his body physician.

After long resistance by king Friedrich I. (the former cure prince Friedrich III. crowned in the previous year) leaves Albinus 1702 Frankfurt (or) and follows an appointment to the University of suffering. On 19 October it gives here its inaugural speech "De ortu et progressu medicinae". On 7 September 1721 Bernhard Friedrich Albinus in suffering dies.
