The citizens of Berlin republic is a political two-monthly magazine, which was created in the year 1999. Publishers and publisher inside the magazine are the social-democratic Member of the Bundestag united in the association citizen of Berlin Republic of registered association. These mostly younger politicians and politician form SPD Bundestag faction within the reformistic network Berlin.

Originally the magazine of 12 delegates, in the meantime increased this circle on approximately 40 persons. At first the delegate and learned journalist Hans Peter Bartels were responsible for the editorship. Since 2001 the former time editor Tobias dry took over this task as an editor-in-chief.
