The "Berlin Brandenburger newspaper - newspaper of the national renewal" (BBZ) was a newspaper of the right-wing extremists scene in the Federal Republic of Germany. In the Federal Constitution protection report 1996 it was called as "present-strongest neo-Nazi tables newspaper".

History

When the right-wing extremist began free voter community the national ones 1992 to the citizen of Berlin Lower House elections, Andreas Storr published an election campaign sheet with the title "national message". From this developed it a little later the newspaper "Berlin Brandenburger newspaper (BBZ)" - "newspaper of the national renewal". The first expenditure of the BBZ appears at the beginning of of 1993, first still with the sub-title "newspaper of the national ones". From the beginning the BBZ served "as news sheet of the combination the NATIONAL ONES (...) only the thing and no particularist interests." The BBZ was existed officially independently of the voter community and/or the association "the national ones registered association", but strong personnel overlaps and served the newspaper unofficially as party newspaper. Apart from the detailed appreciation of the party work of the "national ones" in the newspaper for meetings of allied right-wing extremists organizations like the citizen of Berlin culture community Prussia and Hoffmann von Fallersleben Bildungswerk was recruited or reported on these.

Starting from 1995 it succeeded to the BBZ editorship to ensure the six-weekly appearance of their newspaper. At the same time the project changed to the publishing house "lecture book journey" (VBR publishing house), led by Rudolf Kendzia. Since autumn on the occasion of the election of the federal parliament fights daughter newspapers of the BBZ in other Lands of the Federal Republic appeared irregular and usually to 1995, under it the "new newspaper" and the "South German general newspaper". In addition with the newspaper appearing since 1993 "young Franconia" a co-operation was agreed upon. The expenditures had a common supraregional part - on average six from ten sides -, only the regional part were different in each case. In March 1996 followed the "Central German one round-look", by the one part the edition for Saxonia, another part for Saxonia-Anhalt is given change. In West Germany for the first time the West German people newspaper appears in April 1996, for which Ruediger Kahsner had responsibility. The six newspapers were united in a "national medium federation", which was characterised by its proximity to the NPD. "German voice" (DS) a little later fused the BBZ and the remaining newspapers with the NPD Parteiorgan and they firmierten now as their expenditures for regional.

Publisher, coworker and authors

Publishers of the newspaper were first "the national ones", represented by her chairman Frank Schwerdt. Leading editor became the citizen of Berlin neo-Nazi Christian Wendt. Also different prominent neo-Nazi cadres were actively, so e.g. than authors and correspondents for the BBZ Steffen Hupka, one the formerly leading cadre of the NF and publisher of the newspaper "paging" than correspondent for Saxonia-Anhalt, or Tino Brandt for Thuringia.

In edition July August 1994 occurred the "command F" as a "editorship staff" the newspaper. With this editorship part, which consisted after own stating of "Central German young people", "which different national youth movements belong", published for the first time to articles of strongly nationalrevolutionary colouring in the BBZ. The clay/tone became openly anti-Semitic and anarchist. With the "command F" it probably acted around a group of former members in November 1992 of the forbidden "Nationalisti front" (NF). In the following expenditure from September 1994 the "editorship staff" filled nearly half of the sides, but in December 1994 co-operation was already terminated and the "command" from the imprint taken.

With the expenditure No. the BBZ their editorial and organizational basis widens 15 from February 1995. On the one hand the coworker circle first increased on ten and then on over twenty persons, on the other hand becomes franc Schwerdt now exclusive publisher. The party "the national ones" disappeared from the imprint and the sub-titles in addition to "newspaper of the national renewal". In addition several coworkers of the former "departure" pushed, the "newspaper of the liberal German labour party for Central Germany", i.e. the five new countries in the revisionistic linguistic usage.
