Batten, bar clay/tone, Durstine & Osborn (BBDO) are one of the advertising agencies leading world-wide. The agency resulted 1928 from the fusion of the agencies BDO (bar clay/tone, Durstine & Osborn) and Batten CO.

Overview

BBDO Worldwide is the parent company with seat in New York, this is responsible for at present 290 offices in 77 countries with approximately 17,200 employees (as per Website BBDO).

To the customers of BBDO belong (in Germany) the alliance AG, German post office, Dr.Oetker, handle and the LBS. Internationally one cares for and others DaimlerChrysler, Wrigley, ebay, Motorola and Mitsubishi.

Present president and CEO of BBDO Worldwide are Andrew Robertson, which leads the agency network since June 2004 as youngest CEO of firm history.

Honors

In the year 2005 the network was selected in each case by three advertising technical periodicals, Adage, AdWeek and Campaign for the "agency of the yearly". All three honors were received for the first time in the same year to and the same agency.
