Dr. Barbara Nath Wiser (* Linz) is a Austrian lady doctor.

Barbara Nath Wiser studied 1978 in Vienna medicine and emigrierte to India. It created 1984 the NISHTA center (NISHTA = Sanskrit "confidence") for the population of the Kangratals in the place of residence of its husband Krishan Nath Baba, Sidhbari in the northIndian State of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from conventional working methods this health center offers also to Akupunktur and Ayurveda.

1986 deceased its husband, Barbara Nath Wiser decided in India to remain and their project continue.

2004 were distinguished Barbara Nath Wiser with the Two Wings Award, 2005 were nominated her in the framework by 1000 women for the Nobel peace prize 2005 for the Nobel peace prize.
