Arkadi (Badri) Patarkazischwili (Georgian; * 31 October 1955 in Tiflis) is a Georgian-Russian businessman. The earlier Russian Oligarch works than Philantrop and is since 2004 president of the Georgian olympic committee and the Georgian trade association.

Life

Russian Oligarch

Starting from 1988 it lived in Russia and worked first as a Kfz mechanic in a repair workshop. It created the Patarkazischwili fund, that the Georgian circus, international Kulturfestivals, earthquake victim, that and the publication of scientific works finances renovation of church buildings. 2001 it acquired the soccer association Dinamo Tiflis. 2002 it supported the Tiflisser city administration during the payment by instalments of debts with Russian energy enterprises, 2003 donated it to the Georgian ministry of the Interior several jeeps and 2005 paid it the repair of the Tiflisser endless rope haulage system on the mountain Mtazminda.

The businessman exercises different honorary offices. It is member that internationally Academy OF Television kind & Sciences, which aligns the Emmy Award Gala annually in New York. Since 2001 he is a president of the soccer association Dinamo Tiflis, since 2004 president of the Georgian olympic committee. In the same year he was selected to the president of the Georgian trade association.

Political influencing controls

Patarkazischwili seemed political until 2002 Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze connected, who had expressed itself publicly several times praising over the businessman and its projects. In April 2003 Patarkazischwili expressed sympathies for the opposition: It supports the goals of the united democrats Surab Schwanias and the new conservative party Dawit Gamqrelidses.
