The "autonomy" was "radically left-wing" from 1975 to 1985 an appearing irregular, itself as characteristic magazine of the autonomous scene, in whose editorship among other things members of the Frankfurt group were active "revolutionary fight".

In the autonomy among other things contributions of Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and Joschka Fischer appeared.
