The attorney list (law list also simplifies mentioned) is a listing of the attorneys certified with a court.

Each attorney becomes certified in Germany with exactly one court ("§ 33 exp. 1 sentence 1 Federal Law lawyer order). Each tidy court (office, Court of Appeal, land, upper land and the Federal High Court) leads a list of the attorneys certified with it. The legal basis for it is in "§ 31 Federal Law lawyer order.

Entry into the attorney list

The attorney is registered into the list, as soon as he

• is sworn in,
• its domicile indicated and
• a Kanzlei furnished (so far it is not released from this obligation).

The entry into the attorney list is konstitutiv for the attorney. Only with the entry is it it permits the lawyer activity to exercise ("§ 32 exp. 1 Federal Law lawyer order). In the practice of its activity it is not limited to the court with which it certified, therefore its list it is led.

Information in the attorney list

The attorney list contains information over

• the time of permission and swearing-in in,
• the domicile,
• the Kanzleisitz and
• permission
  • to hold foreign speech days,
  • a branch to furnish as well as
  • further releases according to the Federal Law lawyer order.

Deletion in the attorney list

The attorney is deleted after "§ 36 Federal Law lawyer order in the attorney list,

• Death of the attorney,
• Expire to the permission and
• Revocation of the permission.
