The Atomic Austria GmbH is a Austrian enterprise for the production of ski haven articles. It is in the complete possession of the Finnish Amer of sport group, to which likewise Wilson, Suunto, Precor, Volant belong and since 2005 also to Salomon.

The enterprise was created in the year 1955 by Alois Rohrmoser. Years later, 1966, the industrielle ski production began eleven with the work development in Wagrain. A further work was built 1971 in old person market in the Pongau.

1981 wrote Atomic enterprise history, since it was the first western enterprise, which opened a factory in a "Ostblock-Land". Atomic began with the production of ski and ski articles in a factory in the Bulgarian city Tschepelare. 1994 were driven the enterprise by the Austrian trade union bank BAWAG into the bankruptcy. The balance ratio amounted to 93%. Subsequently, the enterprise was sold to the today's owner Amer of sport.
