Athanasius Kircher S.J. (also: Athanasius Kircherus Fuldensis; * 2. May 1602 in Geisa "† 27 November 1680 in Rome) was a German Jesuit and universal scholar 17. Century, which taught most time of its life at the Collegium Romanum in Rome and researched. Kircher published a large number of detailed Monografien over a far spectrum of topics among other things the geology, medicine, mathematics and music theory. Life

Kircher became to 2. May 1602 in Geisa with Fulda born. From 1614 to 1618 it visited the Jesuiten Kollegium in Fulda, afterwards it joined the medal.
