The Aston Martin DB9 is a sports car of the mark Aston Martin, which belongs to Prime Minister of automotives Group, a department of Ford engine company. He is built since 2004 in the Aston Martin Manufaktur in Gaydon. The contraction railways stands for David Brown, the owner of many years of Aston Martin. The DB9 was sketched by Ian Callum, its successor Henrik Fisker completed it. Unofficially the DB9 replaces the DB7, is however actually positioned a class more highly.

The Aston Martin DB9 is available in two versions, as zwei+zweisitziges and as DB9 Volante, a likewise zwei+zweisitziges Cabriolet. Both models that, the Vanquish taken, 6.0 l V12-Motor, which carries out here 335 KW (456 HP, is common). The number of cylinders twelve is the reason, why the successor of the DB7 DB9 is called, which would let an eight cylinder engine assume designation DB8.

Aston Martin hopes to be able to set annually approx. 5,000 pieces off of the DB9 world-wide, this corresponds in for instance the sales figures of the competitors Ferrari 430 and Porsche 911 turbo and will continued the mark to secure for the time being.
