Consul senator h.c. Professor Kommerzialrat Dipl. Ing. Dr. technical Artur Doppelmayr (* 16 September 1922 in Dornbirn) is a Austrian aerial ropeway pioneer.

It resumed the Vorarlberger aerial ropeway enterprise Doppelmayr, which its father created 1892,

• 1954 it had the conclusion as an engeneering graduate at the technical University of Graz
• 1967 it became Chief Executive Officer of the company Konrad Doppelmayr & son
• 1976 award of the academic title "honour senator "
• 1982 award of the large earnings/service character of the country Vorarlberg
• 1984 award of the silver decoration of the Republic of Austria
• 1985 he was appointed the Finnish honorary consul
• it changed 1994 into the supervisory board of the Doppelmayr getting thing
• 1997 graduation with honor to the Dr.-technical at the technical University of Vienna
• 2001 honor with the William Exner medal for outstanding scientists and inventor for special achievements around the commercial gewerblich-industrielle development of Austria
• 2001 honor to the professor by Federal President Dr. Thomas Klestil
• 2002 were lent to it the golden decoration of the country
