History of the company and the cameras

Arnold & judge were created on 12 September 1917 of August Arnold and Robert judge. Both were cameramen and produced first film equipment of each kind. Admits became Arri however by the development of the mirror screen in movie cameras, led by Erich With the 1937 in the legendary Arriflex 35 presented mirror screen it became possible to see with the rotation by an optical Sucher without parallax errors the accurate screen window with the help of the rotierenen half mirror. Arri manufactures among other things also still headlight, film projectors, lasers for the data from exposure on film, as well as medical cameras.

Until today the company has twelve times the OSCAR for technical innovations in the film industry receives, last in March 2003.
