Arne Treholt (* 13 December 1942) is a former Norwegian politician (Social Democrat) and diplomat. He was undersecretary of state of 1976 to 1978 and diplomat in New York (VN) and in the State Department in Oslo. Its father was an also social-democratic politician, and was as a Secretary of Agriculture former member of the Norwegian government.

Arne Treholt was condemned 1985 because of Landesverrat and espionage for the Soviet Union to 20 years imprisonment. It became prematurely 1992 from that detention to dismiss and emigrierte to Russia.
