Arndt of planks and halfoh (* 24 January 1938 in Berlin Charlottenburg; "† 8. May 1986 in Munich) was a German entrepreneur son and the last branch of the Krupp dynasty.

Life

By its hereditary renouncement 1966 it did not become any more owner of the company Fried. Krupp. Therefore it was not allowed to place also the surname in front "Krupp ", which was reserved the respective however entrepreneur, its name.

On 14 February 1969 he married on the family-own hunting seat flowering brook when throwing in the Salzburger country princess Henriette von Auersperg, the daughter of prince Alois von Auersperg and Komtesse Henriette Larisch of

The non-profit "Alfried Krupp of plank and Halbach donation "is the legacy of Dr. - engineer E. h. Alfried Krupp of planks and halfoh. Owing to the hereditary renouncement of its son Arndt (approx. 3 billion DM) to be entire fortune turned into on the donation established by it, which took up its activity on 1 January 1968. This renouncement was honored by an annual Apanage (approx. 2 millions DM).

Arndt, obviously homosexual, lived a party and a jet set life between Palm Beach and Marrakesch on its generous compensation and an annual Apanage.

At the age of 48 years Arndt of planks died and halfoh to 8. May 1986 in Munich at Kieferkrebs.
