Anne Bonny (* around 1690 in Kinsale, Ireland) was an Irish Rebellin and Piratin. She came as a daughter of an outstanding, married lawyer and its service farm servant to the world. Their father tried to hush up history, by dressing Anne as a boy and as if removed used spent. But its wife found it out and communicated it everywhere. Since it was regarded at that time as heavy sin to have an illegitimate child customers were missing. Therefore it pulled to Annes parents, like so many different also, into a new country, to America. They embarked themselves after South Carolina. There the father acquired country and became due to its commercial ability a rich owner of plan day. But Anne was too boring the plan day life, therefore it pulled her to the nearby port in Charleston. There she was troubled because of their pretty appearance. Since this did not please however Anne, she did not shrink from back to flog such men in such a way that one of them remained one week. Here she became acquainted with also James Bonny, an insignificant Piraten, which she married. Their father offended it therefore; allegedly Anne has thereupon its Plantage down-burned. With its man it embarked itself after new Providence (today's Nassau). This city was considered as capital of the Piraten. Here it met Calico Jack Rackham, which was to have invented the Piratenflagge Jolly Roger, and hired on its ship on. Because women were not gladly seen on board pirate ships, she dressed as a man. It fought skillfully, but it was discovered.
According to a legend Anne killed a man, who had expressed its displeasure over it that a woman was present, with a measurer pass in the heart. On Rackhams ship fell their view of a young man - who turned out meanwhile as a woman: Mary READ.
Anne became intermediate more schwanger, from whom is unknown. It bore the child and left it on an island. It is irony, because exactly the same an incident will save their the late life. 1720 were attacked the ship, the Revenge, by a warship. At this time they were in Jamaica. The crew, except the women, was drunk and hid themselves under the deck. Anne Bonny and Mary READ fought alone. For a long time if this resistance did not last, when then the Piraten came up nevertheless, Mary in its rage shot one at her, killed her.
On 28 November 1720 the judgement for Calico Jack, Anne, Mary and the crew was announced: Death by the cord. By day the execution of Calico Jack, he asked that Anne would come again to him. Their words were: `I' m sorry ton lake you here, Jack, but if you' D have fought like A one you needn' t slope like A dog.' ("It does wrong you to me to see here, Jack, but if you had fought like a man, you would have to hang not now like a dog. "). The execution of the two women was postponed, since they were more schwanger. In Annes case is not well-known whether the pregnancy was not perhaps pretended.
Over Anne Bonnys further life is not anything well-known. It was maintained, it had become nun, or however it returned to its father or to their man. Possible it is also that she went itself lake. A further rumor is that it had become disguised again than man the Pirat, under the name Bartholomew Robert. From this little is well-known and many of its characteristics resembles those Bonnys: He liked splendid clothes, hated Rum and had an orchestra on board. On the other hand it speaks that Robert to today's knowledge already 1718 came on a pirate ship.
