The analysis & criticism (ak) with the Untertiel newspaper for left debate and practice is an appearing four weekly newspaper in Hamburg undogmatischen except-parliamentary linking. In November 2005 the 500 appeared. Expenditure ak.

History

It came out 1992 from the newspaper worker fight (AK) of the communist federation (KB), when after the dissolution of the KB split into two currents the common continuation of the AK was terminated by both currents with the establishment of the magazine the Bahamas by the minority current.

The new published by the former KB majority ak pursued first a Party of Democratic Socialism-friendly orientation. Starting from center of the 1990er years, as if some former member of the editorship positions in the Party of Democratic Socialism and its journalistic surrounding field transferred, took place a taper ratio with persons without KB background, see also new ones left ones.

Publisher of ak is today the "association for political education, analysis and criticism registered association". The edition is with 2.800 copies.

Contents

ak refers as pluralistisches debate organ primarily to social movements. In the sense of a "interventionist" self understanding a critical influencing control on party politics (WASG, left wing party) in most discussion contributions is endorsed, however always on the basis of a institution-critical Primat of the social one.

Belonged to the traditions international reporting founded taken over by the old worker fight. Were added new ranges of topics such as bio politics.

The supplement magazine with deepening and theoretical contributions appears half-yearly as addition too ak. By program the editorship orients itself loosely at the problem fields designated by references of the theory of Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt ("Empire", "Multitude").
