Alfred William Moritz Meyer Waldeck (* 27 November 1864 in sank Petersburg; "† 25 August 1928 in bath Kissingen) was a German naval officer. Admits became it by the defense of the German protected area Kiautschou in the year 1914.

Life

As a successor of the provisionally used max Rollman the naval officer became on 19 August 1911 governor of the area Kiautschou already blossoming. When on 23 August 1914 the Japanese declaration of war took place to the German Reich, sent a telegram May-he-forest-hit a corner to the German emperor "a-stand for performance of duties up to the extreme". On 7 November it had to capitulate before the British and Japanese Belagerern.
