The agricultural machinery factory Rudolph bag produced from 1863 to 1948 in troubling joke (since 1891 to the city Leipzig).

The plow factory Rud. Bag was until 1945 one of the prominent plow and agricultural machinery factories of Germany.

During the world economic crisis had 1930 1,150 persons employed will dismiss, in the year 1932 worked only 65 persons employed as well as 31 apprentices in the company. 1937/38 were bought up the company Leonhard (woodworking machines) on property sounding route 22. After 1942 1,570 forced laborers were busy in the company.

In April 1945 the company became Rud. Bag kg by the US-American crew shut down, already in May 1945 was however again taken up production under old company with 224 persons employed. In the year 1998 the BBG was transferred by the Amazone works, acted at the market however as independent enterprise. Different devices for the cultivation are manufactured.
