Adolf Silverberg (* 1845 in Goch; "† 1903 in Cologne) were a Jewish Industrieller.

It carried for end 19. Century considerably for economic development Bedburgs. Under guidance of Adolf Silverberg developed in the Rhine country a modern brown coal industry. For its earnings/services it received the title of a Kommerzienrates.

From the marriage with Theodora 1872 resulted the first connection to Bedburg. It and its family help the city in the Rhine Erft circle (North-Rhine/Westphalia) to some Wohlstand.Silverberg cooperated first in the enterprise of its father in Goch, before it invested its part of the profit in the establishment of the Bedburger wool and the Rheini linoleum works. It created thereby in the contemplative small town 1000 connection Bedburgs to the line in the year 1869 was possibly the reason for Silverbergs activities.

On his initiative the Kreistag 1894 approved the building of a network of meterspurigen Kleinbahnen, to the Bergheimer circular paths. They served the transport of raw brown coal and briquette.
