Absorption means the utilization from contacts in the jargon of the intelligence services to a person, who has interesting information (e.g. Secret carrier). The taxed away person continues to give thereby knowledge or also to material to recognize without the real intention of the taxing away and/or in the wrong acceptance that the passing on is unproblematic.
